The following are public holidays in Bulgaria. Note that when they would normally fall on a Saturday or Sunday, public holidays are usually not moved to the next working day.

On these days, banks and government offices are shut, but most shops, restaurants, visitor attractions, music venues and so on are open.

Other useful information

The clocks go forward to the Summer Time (Greenwich Mean Time + two hours) on 29 March 2015. The clocks go back again one hour on 25 October 2015.
